Coongie Lakes – Walkers Crossing
Fine
Packed up and left camp 8:30am as it is a 2hr drive back to
Innamincka, we had a few things to see on the way out today.
Once in at Innamincka the boys filled the cars with fuel it
was very busy at the town centre today trucks and cars everywhere. We had to go and visit the tip just to see
the dingos and there were about 20 there all waiting for people to throw the rubbish
into the pit.
On our way out of town we visited Kings Grave, Wills Grave
we had morning tea there.
Now on our way to Walkers Crossing and had a bit of lunch on
the track.
Passed through Walkers Crossing new bridge there now it was
a bit to early to camp so drove a little further and Pete found a good spot to
camp for the night now it was about 3:30pm.
I made a damper and Robin cooked a cake for after dinner.
Beautiful sunset and lots of howling dingos to go with the
desert atmospher.
